All parades have marching bands. Some are brilliant - playing very funky stuff for the crowds to dance to. Some dance with their instruments to the drum beat keeping funky time with the parade. They all have girls in tight leotards twirling and leaping. The most unusual one we saw was a steel band - from Michigan!!??

Jeez- you've got to admire those guys who can march, dance and play musical instuments at the same time! l love funky bands. l guess this event draws the bands from all over- a bit like our highland games etc.
